Holland-Dubrowner says fan service is ‘world class’
Manchester City stars Elling Holland and Kevin De Bruyne were at the top of their game when it came to fan service.
Manchester City lost 1-2 in the second leg of the 2023 Coupang Playoff Series against Atletico Madrid at Seoul World Cup Stadium at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
With the score tied at 0-0, a flurry of substitutions midway through the second half changed the game.
City dropped Holland, Jack Grealish, Bernardo Silva, and Phil Foden to the bench, while bringing on James McAteer, Sergio Gomes, Joao Cancelo, and Calvin Phillips as backups.
Atletico then rattled the net in quick succession. In the dying minutes of the game, a late goal by Juventus’ Fabian Diaz proved to be too much.
The fans were disappointed with City’s short visit. After the game, they stayed to watch the players one last time.
